This episode is the final workshop in the 3-part series: How to Build Trust in Yourself by Reconnecting with Your Felt Sense.

In this final workshop, we go deeper into:

self-abandonment and emotional imprints
why behavior is often the surface expression of something deeper
how real transformation happens at the root

In this episode, I continue last week’s conversation around people-pleasing, emotional over-responsibility, and nervous system survival by exploring the deeper connection between emotional healing and mental health.
For Mental Health Awareness Month, I wanted to open up a more nuanced conversation around suppressed emotions, trauma, nervous system patterns, and the way emotional pain can slowly become identity.
I share my perspective on:
emotion as “energy in motion”
the impact of emotional suppression on the body and nervous system
mental health labels and identity
the difference between managing symptoms vs healing
somatic work, nervous system support, and trauma-informed care
why healing is not about “fixing” yourself

Let’s explore the connection between cognitive dissonance and the nervous system, and why change can feel so uncomfortable…even when you deeply want it.

Cognitive dissonance is often experienced as a gap..the space between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming. I’m sharing Workshop 2 of my 3-part series: How to Build Trust in Yourself by Reconnecting with Your Felt Sense.
In Workshop 1, we focused on reconnecting to the body, without force.
In this session, we move beyond reconnection and begin to understand why you do what you do.. exploring the internal systems that drive your patterns, behaviors, and decisions.
Many of us are highly self-aware, yet still find ourselves repeating the same cycles. This workshop helps you understand why.. not from a mindset level, but from the nervous system and subconscious patterns beneath the surface.
Inside this workshop, we explore:
Why you repeat patterns even when you’re self-aware
How your nervous system influences your behaviors and decisions
The difference between thinking your way through life vs feeling your way through it
How patterns are formed beneath conscious awareness
A guided somatic practice to reconnect and listen to your internal signals

The Spring Equinox marks a powerful moment of balance.. when day and night meet in equal harmony, inviting us to pause, reset, and reconnect as we step into a new season.
In this episode, I’m sharing a Spring Equinox meditation that is an opportunity to slow down, release what’s been sitting beneath the surface, and reconnect with your own inner alignment..what I refer to as your inner syzygy.
Syzygy is the natural dance of opposites within life coming into union. Like an infinity symbol.. where both sides meet in the center, creating balance, harmony, and connection.
This practice is an invitation back to that space within yourself. Just as the earth finds equilibrium during the equinox, this meditation supports you in finding that same balance within yourself.
If you’re able to, find a quiet and comfortable place, take a deep breath, and allow yourself this time to reset and realign.

After hosting the first workshop in my new self-trust series, I received a lot of messages asking if the event had been recorded or if a virtual option would be available. Because the in-person event included personal conversations and reflections, I chose not to record the live experience out of respect for everyone in the room. But after hearing from so many people who wanted access to the material, I decided to record the workshop separately so you could experience it virtually.
